Between the Pages: Reviews

About
Waves of Grace is a collection of short devotions inspired by surfing, the ocean, and the quiet moments that shape us in and out of the water. Written in a simple, approachable tone, this book is for surfers, ocean lovers, and anyone who has felt something sacred while watching a set roll in or sitting still between waves. You don’t have to be a seasoned believer—or even a surfer—to connect with these pages. You just have to be willing to slow down and listen.
Each devotion draws from real moments—waiting, wiping out, resting, paddling back out—and pairs them with Scripture to explore what faith looks like in everyday beach life. This book offers a gentle challenge: to notice God in the ordinary, to trust Him in the in-between, and to discover that following Jesus isn’t about having it all figured out, but about showing up with an open heart.
Our prayer is that these devotions draw you closer to God and connect that awe-filled feeling you experience in the ocean to His Word. We believe Jesus whispers His love to us through nature, so we dove into Scripture to reflect on what the sea so often stirs in our hearts. Whether you’re already following Jesus or simply sensing there’s something more and wanting to dive deeper, our hope is that these pages invite you into a closer walk with Him and that God is glorified through it all.
